Acrylic narrative illustration: This is one of the first illustrations I did using acrylic paint. Previously my medium of choice was colored pencil on pastel paper. This approach didn’t work as well as I’d hoped so I decided to switch to acrylic. This piece was also created shortly after graduating college when I was building my professional portfolio. I can’t say where the idea came from, it was simple a flash in my mind and off I went. But this piece has proven one of my most loved.
