Wilma and Basil

Paul Weiner is an illustrator whose wide experience includes assignments for magazines, design studios, and educational publishers, as well as being a digital art instructor. He loves to relax and play music with the Harmony Gritz band.

Wilma and Basil was created for a picture book I am working on. The scene involves two characters that meet and are on their way to a music competition. I enjoyed working on this illustration because of the variety of textured brushes that Manga Studio 5 has. I love the warmth conveyed with certain sienna’s and brown tones.
