Martin strives to write picture books he would have enjoyed as a child, and to inspire a little bit of childlike behavior among adults as well.
He is a member of The Children’s Writer’s Guild and has contributed to several advertising and economics industry reports. Scenes from his story, “Andrew R. Dinosaur: The ‘R.’ Stands for Roar!,” were also featured in The Center for Contemporary Art’s Children’s Book Illustration Exhibit.
The New Jersey Shore was Martin’s stomping ground, with his childhood shaped by baseball, superheroes, and wrestling (the pretend kind). Oh yeah, Martin’s middle initial? “An ‘I.’ for Intrigue! Okay – Injury-Prone. It’s Injury-Prone.”
