Kris Lee resides with three beautiful daughters and a dog, Coco, in her New Jersey home. She worked at the Salvation Army for Children’s Foster Home program after earning her BBA degree from Hofstra University in New York. She is a CPA working for the Board of Education during the day, while pursuing her dream to inspire children and young adults through her writing to build positive self-image, to boost self-esteem and to cultivate emotional health.

Kris is an animal lover and appreciates nature where she spends a lot of time outdoors involved in activities including hiking, biking, gardening, and going to beaches and parks. She also loves music, movies, cooking, foreign culture, comic books and soccer. She works with social media for the American Cancer Society and proactively participates in charity events.

Her favorite children’s books are written by Dr. Seuss, and she can even recite some fun verses and quotes from his stories. During her early childhood she was inspired by Helen Keller’s strength, love and perseverance. She believes that setting a good example to children is far more influential as they learn by our actions, not by our words. Thus, she’s fond of Gandhi’s quote, “my life is my message”!
